Egypt-Malawi relations on the right track -El Adawy

Egyptian Ambassador to Malawi, Maher El-Adawy has said that cooperation between Malawiand Egypt are on track to reach unprecedented levels.

Marking Egypt’s national day which falls onJuly 23, El-Adawy said a lot has happened in recent months that clearly indicate the blossoming relations between the two countries.He said apart from the meeting between Presidents’ Professor Peter Mutharika and Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at Sharma El Sheik, thetwo countries have also signed several bilateral agreements in various sectors of the economy.“We have signed three memorandums of understandings to cooperate in the fields of Agriculture, Tourism and Investment.“We have also successfully completed more than 70 capacity building programs in different sectors of economy mainly agriculture, health, security and police, trade and Investment and many more,” He said.El-Adawy added that Egypt has provided study scholarships and has started the process to establish two factories for the processing of tobacco and manufacturing cigarettes.Egypt has also donated and installed threestate-of-the-art medical units in the fields
