Thugs ‘shoot-to- kill’ Malawi Police officer in Lilongwe

Malawi Police are hunting for a gang of
suspected robbers who shot dead a
police officer who was in a minibus of
a Petroda Filling Station in Lilongwe
and robbed bags containing cash.
Thugs are reported to have ambushed

after it had just left the filling station to
bank

They fatally shot at a police officer before robbing the cash.
Lilongwe Police Public Relations officer, Kingsley Dandaula said Police have launched investigations into murder.
On Sunday thugs shot a UDF director of youth Ibrahim Maloni in Area 47 where they went away with cash and other valuables.
Gun crime is on the rise in Malawi.
